Cordell earned his aviation degree from the Aviation Institute of Mechanics, in Atlanta, GA, in 2005.   He also holds a property and casualty license, and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1993 to 1997.  He offers over 20 years of experience in solid waste management, recycling, and disaster relief.  He is a certified trainer in operations of heavy equipment, equipment safety, commercial truck driving, picking stations and separation of commodities and servicing.

Currently, he is CEO/Founder of 360 Recycling, Inc., which is a renewable energy power company.  This company performs comprehensive waste management services, with a goal of eliminating disposed waste in landfills by utilizing advanced technology.  The waste is then processed through eco-friendly systems and converted to various byproducts like electricity, liquid transportation fuels, additives, and fertilizers.

He has a great list of achievements, which include being a recipient of the 2016 Presidential Volunteer Service Lifetime Achievement Award, and being named Goodwill Ambassador for the State of Georgia.
